How we check calculations and content
Our conversion uses 1 inch = 25.4 mm. The calculators keep decimal display precision separate from measurement uncertainty. Fractional results use nearest-denominator rounding; nominal paper, wire and tire dimensions are identified as reference values or estimates.
Calculation checks cover known conversions and fraction error bounds. Source notes identify the unit definitions or sizing conventions behind each page. Those checks do not replace the applicable drawing, current standard or manufacturer specifications.
Editorial responsibility and corrections
